About Steve Roady
Professor Steve Roady is a legal expert on clean air and ocean policy. His experience includes negotiations with the Council on Environmental Quality in the Obama Administration as it formulated a new national ocean policy, serving as the first president of Oceana, and serving as staff for the Senate Committee responsible for drafting the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. He has also helped Pacific islands as they work through legal options in their fights against sea level rise and ocean acidification. Professor Roady currently teaches at Duke law school and is a faculty fellow in the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke.
